  2. Attach check payable to “Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania” for $26. (Include cost for additional registration cards, if desired.)
  4. Mail completed application, and check or money order to:

  5. The Grand Secretary’s Office will validate your membership, complete sections B & C, and will forward it to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

The State of PA has announced that effective July 17, 2014, specialty plates are now available.

  • Specialty plates are personalized versions of the Blue Lodge plates above, and cost $130 ($104 plus $26 for the registration).
  • Specialty plates can be up to 5 characters (alpha or numeric), and may contain one hyphen or space (but not both).
  • To order the specialty version of the license plate, please fill out this form, enclose $130, and send it to the Grand Lodge at the address above.

Brother James C. Erlinger, P.M., Receives Joint Service Club Award at W&J College Luncheon

Brother James C. Erlinger, P.M. was the recipient of the area Joint Service Club Award from Sunset Lodge at the annual luncheon held at Washington and Jefferson College's Rossin Campus Center on Tuesday November 13, 2018. The Joint Service Club is comprised of the Washington Business and Professional Women, Kiwanis Club of Washington, Knights of Columbus, Washington Lion's Club, Washington Lodge #164 F&AM, Rotary Club of Washington, Zonta Club of Washington, PONY Baseball & Softball, Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks, International Order of Rainbow for Girls Martha V. Paul Assembly, and Sunset Lodge #623 F&AM. The Club is responsible for maintaining the various signs on the roads that lead into the City of Washington with logos that show the organizations meeting times. Brother Erlinger was recognized by the lodge for his association with the Boy Scout organization.

Brother James started his scouting journey early at age 9 as a Cub Scout and then went in to the Boy Scouts and Explorer Scouts. In 1970 he received the Ad Altare Del award and also became a Vigil Honor in the Order of the Arrow. In 1971 he became an Eagle Scout with Bronze Palm and eventually became assistant district commander. In 1982 James became a cub master of a cub scout pack in South Strabane township. James rose to become district commissioner of the Catawba District, later becoming the vice chairman of the Catawba District and a member of the Laurel Highlands Council camping committee. For the past 15 years James has participated in the National Camp Accreditation Program for the Northwest Region of the BSA as a visitation committee member and team leader. As a mason James was awarded the Daniel Carter Beard Masonic Scouter Award in 2004.
